Privacy Policy

Liminal exists for some of the most private moments in your life. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it the way we write everything else: plainly.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address, provided when you sign in with Google or a magic link.
• Intake answers: the responses you give when creating a ritual, including free-text answers and preferences.
• Feedback: anything you choose to tell us after a ritual.
• Usage information: standard technical data such as pages visited and session activity, collected through analytics tools.

How we use it

• To write your rituals. Your intake answers are processed, including by AI providers acting on our behalf, solely to generate your ritual.
• To run the service: signing you in, saving your rituals, sending invite emails you request.
• To improve Liminal, using feedback and aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your intake answers for advertising.

What your partner sees

In a couple ritual, each partner answers privately. Your raw answers are never shown to your partner. Only the synthesized ritual, written from both sets of answers, is shared between you.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Liminal: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, AI text generation, and session analytics (FullStory). Each receives only what it needs to do its job and is bound by its own contractual and legal obligations.

Retention and deletion

You can delete any ritual, along with its intake answers, from your rituals page at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@liminalbliss.com and we will confirm once it is done.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your language, plus analytics cookies as described above. We do not use advertising cookies.

Age

Liminal is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the service.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you directly.
