Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Liminal, the ritual service operated at liminalbliss.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Liminal generates private, personalized rituals from the answers you provide, for solo practice, for couples, and for hospitality partners. Rituals are written suggestions for how to spend time. What you do with them is up to you.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Liminal. By using the service you confirm that you are.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Liminal is not therapy, counseling, or a medical or mental health service, and it makes no clinical claims. Rituals are not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or need professional support, please seek it from a qualified provider.

Your account and conduct

• Keep your account to yourself. You are responsible for activity under it.
• Answer honestly and only about yourself and, in a couple ritual, your consenting partner.
• Do not use the service to harass, harm, or deceive anyone, or to violate any law.
• Everything in a ritual is an invitation, never an obligation. Consent between partners is yours to hold, not ours to grant.

Your content

You own your intake answers and feedback. You give us the limited rights needed to operate the service: to store your answers, process them (including with AI providers) to generate your rituals, and show the results to you. See the Privacy Policy for how your information is handled.

Our content

The Liminal name, site, design, ritual architecture, and library content are ours or our licensors'. Rituals generated for you are yours to use privately. Please do not resell or republish them.

Paid services

Some parts of Liminal are or will become paid, including hotel partnerships. Prices and terms for paid services are presented before you commit to them, and any additional terms will be agreed in writing with partners.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liminal is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending things

You can stop using Liminal and delete your rituals at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. We will give notice where reasonably possible.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is significant, we will update the date above and tell you directly. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
